Los Baños del Carmen, also known as La Playa-Balneario Nuestra Señora del Carmen, is a coastal enclave in the Este district of the city of Málaga. It is one of the symbols of the city. It was built on the remains of Monte San Telmo in the 1920s as a leisure space for the upper classes of the time.
Today it has a beach area, a bar with a terrace, a large green area and two tennis courts in use. The neighbourhood that takes its name extends across the N-340 road, between Avenida Pintor Joaquín Sorolla and the sea.
