Get to know Este

Málaga Este, also known as District 2, is one of the eleven districts of the city of Málaga, bordered to the south by the Mediterranean Sea. Since the nineteenth century it has been the area of the Málaga bourgeoisie and aristocracy, while Pedregalejo and El Palo are humble fishing neighbourhoods.

Its wealthiest neighbourhoods include El Limonar, Cerrado de Calderón, El Mayorazgo, El Morlaco and Pinares de San Antón. It borders Ciudad Jardín to the west, and it also includes Altos de Jaboneros, Fábrica de Cemento, Venta El Detalle, Colinas del Limonar, El Candado and Miraflores del Palo.
