Castell d'Aro, Platja d'Aro i s'Agaró, also called the Vall d'Aro, is a municipality in the comarca of Baix Empordà, in the province of Girona. It sits in the middle of the Costa Brava, bordering Calonge to the north, Santa Cristina d'Aro to the west and Sant Feliu de Guíxols to the south.

Three parts make it up. Castell d'Aro is an old village built around a medieval castle and a fortified church, Platja d'Aro is the coastal town and the capital, stretching along a large beach, and S'Agaró is the seaside part. The Camí de Ronda links the main beach with the small beaches nearby.
