Villarrobledo is a city in the northwest of the province of Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha, bordering the provinces of Cuenca and Ciudad Real. King Alfonso XIII granted it the title of city in 1929. Its municipal area is one of the largest in Spain.

Vineyards cover a huge area here, producing La Mancha wine, and the town is a centre of Manchego cheese. Carnival and Holy Week are both of national tourist interest. The ViñaRock music festival and a wine fair also take place here.
