Villanueva de los Infantes is a municipality in the south-east of the province of Ciudad Real, in Castile-La Mancha. It is the seat of the judicial district and the capital of the Campo de Montiel, and has been listed as one of Spain's Most Beautiful Villages since 2017.

The Universidad Complutense de Madrid has designated it as the Place in La Mancha mentioned at the start of Don Quixote by Cervantes. Francisco de Quevedo died here, and you can visit the room in the convent where he spent his final days, now inside the church of Santo Domingo. The economy is based on tourism, wine and olives.
