Viana do Bolo is a municipality in the east of the province of Ourense, in Galicia, within the comarca of Viana. It sits at the heart of Bibey country, between Galicia and Castile and León, close to the Sanabria lake natural park. The population is 2715 (INE 2025).

At 256.3 km² it is one of the largest municipalities in the province. The Bibey, Camba and Conso rivers run through its valleys, and chestnuts, livestock and hydroelectric power support its economy. Its Entrudio carnival is its most famous celebration, with the boteiro, the fulións and the comparsas.
