Valle Gran Rey is a municipality on the island of La Gomera, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. It is the second most populated on the island, after San Sebastián de La Gomera. Its name recalls Hupalupa, king of the Gomerans in 1488.
Its people live in neighbourhoods and hamlets along the ravine and the coastal platform: La Calera, the seat since 1930, Las Hayas, Taguluche, La Playa and Vueltas. Vueltas has a fishing and passenger port, with a fast boat to Tenerife. Tourism comes mostly from Germany and from the Canary Islands themselves.
