Get to know Valle del Guadalhorce

Valle del Guadalhorce is one of the nine comarcas of the province of Málaga, in Andalusia, shaped by the Guadalhorce river. The valley is fertile, growing vegetables, fruit and citrus, and is known as the market garden of Málaga. Málaga's urban growth now spreads mainly here, thanks to its closeness and good links with the city.

Coín is traditionally the most important town, a role Álora once held. Alhaurín de la Torre and Alhaurín el Grande are now the largest municipalities. Cártama, Pizarra, Almogía and Valle de Abdalajís complete the comarca.
