El Cabanyal-Canyamelar is a neighborhood of the city of Valencia, in the Poblados Marítimos district, in the east of the city. It borders La Malvarrosa to the north, the Mediterranean Sea to the east, El Grao to the south and Ayora, Illa Perduda and Beteró to the west.
Between 1837 and 1897 it was an independent municipality called Poble Nou de la Mar. Its grid of streets follows the lines of the old huts, which stood parallel to the sea.
