La Luz is a neighborhood of the city of Valencia, in the Olivereta district, at the western edge of the city. It borders Soternes to the north, La Fuensanta to the east and south, and the municipality of Chirivella to the west.
The name comes from the limited-rent housing built there in the fifties. At first only that part was known as the Barri de la Llum, but the name gradually spread across the rest of the neighborhood.
