La Xerea, also spelled Xarea, is a neighbourhood in the Ciutat Vella district, in the centre of the city of Valencia. Its name comes from the Arabic word xaria, meaning law.

The gate in the Arab wall that faced this outer quarter was called Bab al-Xaria. It borders Trinidad to the north, El Pla del Real to the east, San Francisco and El Pla del Remei to the south, and La Seu to the west.
