Valencia is a province in the central part of the Valencian Community, with the city of Valencia as its capital. The capital is also the capital of the autonomous community and the third biggest city in Spain. The province borders the Mediterranean to the east, Castellón and Teruel to the north, Cuenca and Albacete to the west and Alicante to the south.

Its comarcas include La Plana de Utiel-Requena, La Serranía, El Valle de Cofrentes-Ayora, La Hoya de Buñol, El Camp de Túria, La Ribera Alta, La Canal de Navarrés and La Vall d'Albaida. Beyond the capital, the main towns are Torrent, Gandia, Paterna, Sagunto, Alzira, Ontinyent, Xàtiva, Sueca, Llíria, Requena and Buñol.
