Get to know Valdemoro

Valdemoro is a town in the south of the Community of Madrid, in the comarca of La Sagra and within the Madrid metropolitan area. It was granted the title of villa at the end of the fourteenth century. Its recent history is tied to the Guardia Civil, whose Colegio de Guardias Jóvenes Duque de Ahumada trains future members of the corps here.

Being close to the capital has brought strong growth in recent decades, along with new transport links, schools, health centres and leisure facilities. Pinto lies to the north, San Martín de la Vega to the east, Torrejón de Velasco to the west, and Ciempozuelos, Seseña and Esquivias to the south.
