Tona is a municipality in the province of Barcelona, in the comarca of Osona, Catalonia. It lies on the Plain of Vic and has 8527 inhabitants (2025). It is a short distance from Vic, between Barcelona, Manresa and Girona, and several roads link it with the whole of Catalonia.

It borders Malla, Taradell, Muntanyola, Collsuspina, Seva and Balenyà, and includes two exclaves to the east. Its neighbourhoods are La Suïssa, Zona Esportiva, la Canal, Fontordera, Ullastres Verinal, Lurdes, Centre and Raval.
