Terra Alta is a sparsely populated inland comarca in Terres de l'Ebre, in the province of Tarragona, with Gandesa as its capital. It is also known as Castellania, a name from its medieval days as a fief of the Knights Hospitaller under the Crown of Aragon. Its name is tied to wine, and the modernist buildings of the farm cooperatives in Gandesa and Pinell de Bray are the work of Cèsar Martinell.

Besides Gandesa, its towns include Batea, Horta de San Juan, Corbera d'Ebre, Pinell de Bray, La Fatarella, Vilalba dels Arcs and Bot. The comarca takes in the Els Ports natural park and the historic sites of the Battle of the Ebro. A greenway runs along the old Val de Zafán railway line.
