Get to know Tías

Tías is a town and municipality in the south of Lanzarote, in the province of Las Palmas, on the Atlantic. The town stands near the south coast, west of the island capital Arrecife. Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote's largest tourist resort, lies entirely within the municipality and saw the island's first hotels open in 1967.

Besides Tías and Puerto del Carmen, it includes Mácher, La Asomada, Masdache, Conil and Tegoyo. Neighbouring municipalities are Yaiza, Tinajo and San Bartolomé.
