Get to know Vallparadís

Vallparadís is a neighbourhood of Terrassa, in the north-eastern part of district 1, also called the Centre district. It lies on the left bank of the stream that gives it its name, now a park. It is bounded to the north by Passeig Vint-i-dos de Juliol, to the south by Avinguda de Jacquard, to the east by the Castellar road and to the west by the Montner and Vallparadís streams, which form the current park.

The Escola Universitària d'Òptica i Optometria de Terrassa, part of the UPC, has its seat here as part of the Terrassa university campus. Its festa major takes place in the second week of June. The neighbourhood belongs to the parish of Sant Pere, on the other side of the stream.
