Get to know Teo

Teo is a municipality in the comarca of Santiago, in the province of A Coruña, right beside the Galician capital and part of its metropolitan area. Once a rural place of farming and livestock, it has become a residential and service area thanks to its closeness to Santiago. It is one of the fastest-growing municipalities of recent decades, with a fairly young population.

Os Tilos, Cacheiras and A Ramallosa are home to much of the population and the local services. Other parishes include Calo, Lucí, Luou, Oza, Reis and Rarís. Santiago and Ames lie to the north, Rois, Brión and Padrón to the west, Vedra to the east and A Estrada to the south, largely across the Ulla.
