Get to know Sierra de Tramontana

Serra de Tramuntana covers the northwestern part of the island of Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, and takes in the whole mountain range of the same name. The Mediterranean surrounds it to the south, west and north. Sóller is its traditional capital, and like other Balearic comarcas it is recognised only geographically.

Calvià is the most populous municipality, and Pollença the largest. Andratx, Bunyola, Esporles, Puigpunyent and Valldemossa are also part of it. Palma lies to the southeast and the Raiguer to the east.
