La Florida is a neighborhood of Seville in the Nervión district, forming its westernmost part. It lies outside the old walls, and the Ronda Histórica separates it from the Casco Antiguo, specifically from the San Bartolomé neighborhood. It borders San Roque and La Calzada to the north, Huerta del Pilar to the east, and La Buhaira and San Bernardo to the south.
Its name comes from the Quinta de la Florida, a bourgeois public bathhouse in the area around 1880. In the Andalusian period the land was occupied by the arrabal of Benialofar, whose remains were found by surprise in 2009. Calle de La Florida is one of the main public streets of the neighborhood.
