El Porvenir is a neighbourhood of Seville in the Sur district. Originally it was bounded by María Luisa Park, the Seville-Cádiz railway line (now Calle Ramón Carande), the Catalana de Gas installations and the land of today's Huerta de la Salud.
For years that land hosted the rides of the Feria de Abril, a space popularly known as the Calle del Infierno. Neighbouring areas are Tabladilla-La Estrella, Huerta de la Salud and Tiro de Línea-Santa Genoveva.
