Santa Cruz is a neighbourhood in the Casco Antiguo district of Seville, on part of the former Jewish quarter of the city. It is bordered by the Jardines de Murillo, the Real Alcázar, Calle Mateos Gago and Calle Santa María la Blanca.
Its present look is the result of an urban renewal project from the late 1910s and early 1920s, designed to recreate a typical Andalusian village. Many of the city's oldest churches are here, along with the cathedral and the Giralda, the former minaret of the old mosque.
