Get to know Sanxenxo

Sanxenxo is a coastal municipality in the province of Pontevedra, in the south of the O Salnés comarca. It faces the Atlantic between the Pontevedra and Arousa estuaries, west of the city of Pontevedra. Its beaches and nightlife have made it one of the leading holiday destinations in Galicia.

In summer the population can grow sixfold, and no other Galician municipality has more hotel beds. It is made up of parishes such as Adigna, Padriñán, Noalla, Vilalonga, Dorrón, Gondar, Nantes and Bordones.
