Santa Coloma de Farners is a spa town in the province of Girona, in Catalonia, and the capital of the comarca of the Selva. It sits at the foot of the Guilleries, on the edge of the Selva Depression. The Plaça de Farners, lined with century-old plane trees, leads to the Gothic church of Santa Coloma.

Its streets hold modernist buildings such as Can Gironès, Casa Bofill and the Casa de la Paraula. The Romanesque castle of Farners and the Farners hermitage lie outside the town. Thermal water and ratafia, of which it is the capital, round out its character.
