Get to know Sant Feliu de Pallerols

Sant Feliu de Pallerols is a town and municipality in the comarca of Garrotxa, in the province of Girona. It lies in the Hostoles valley, between the valleys of the Brugent and Sant Iscle rivers, inside the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. In 2025 it had 1700 inhabitants.

The volcanic ridges of Corb and Fontpobra surround it, and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Font de la Salut stands at 1030 m. The area is known for its many waterfalls, with natural pools named Boix, Valls and La Mola. The Olot-Girona narrow gauge railway ran here until 1969 and is now a greenway. The economy rests on dryland farming, livestock, and the sausage and chocolate industry.
