Get to know Añorga
Añorga is a neighbourhood of San Sebastian, in the Oeste district, in the province of Gipuzkoa. It was once a farmstead area on the edge of the city. In 1900 the Cementos Rezola company set up here and turned the neighbourhood into an industrial area, without fully losing its rural character.
Three distinct parts are usually recognised: Añorga Haundi, Añorga-Txiki and Rekalde. One of its emblems is the sports and cultural club Añorga Kirol eta Kultur Elkartea, founded in 1922.
