San Pedro del Pinatar is a municipality in the Region of Murcia, in the Campo de Cartagena y Mar Menor comarca. It sits at the northern end of the Costa Cálida and borders San Javier and Pilar de la Horadada, in the province of Alicante. For a long time fishing and the salt pans were its livelihood.

It is made up of San Pedro del Pinatar, Lo Pagan, Los Cuarteros, Las Esperanzas, Los Peñascos, Los Saez, Los Antolinos and Loma de Abajo. To the north lies the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar natural park. Traditional festivals take place in summer.
