San Bartolomé de Tirajana is a municipality on the island of Gran Canaria, in the province of Las Palmas, and the largest by area in the Canary Islands. Its seat is Tunte, a farming village in the mountains inside the Tirajana caldera. The coast holds Maspalomas, a major destination for holiday apartments and bungalows since the sixties.

Most residents live along the Atlantic shore, in resorts such as Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés and San Agustín. Inland are villages like Fataga, Ayacata and Ayagaures, and the Pilancones natural park. The GC-1 motorway crosses the south of the municipality and links it with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the airport.
