Salvaterra de Miño is a town and municipality in the province of Pontevedra, in the comarca of O Condado. It stands on the northern bank of the Miño, where the Tea joins it, and it belongs to the Vigo metropolitan area.

The Miño is the natural border with Portugal. Directly across the river lies Monção, and together the two towns form a Eurocity. The municipality is made up of Salvaterra, Fornelos da Ribeira, Alxén, Leirado, Pesqueiras, Meder, San Miguel de Cabreira and Arantei.
