Get to know el Centre

El Centre is the neighborhood of Sabadell around which the city grew, after the first houses were built along the lower part of today's Passeig de la Plaça Major.

It began as a walled enclosure around the church of Sant Feliu and the crossing of royal roads, where the weekly market was set up. Its main landmarks are the town hall, the former Casa Duran and the Central Market, and its main axis is the Rambla. Its parts are El Centre, Covadonga and Hostafrancs.
