Get to know Reus

Reus is the capital of the Baix Camp comarca in the province of Tarragona, in the west of the Camp de Tarragona. Documented from 1154, the town grew through trade and by the eighteenth century was the second-largest in Catalonia. It is known today for its commercial activity and as the birthplace of architect Antoni Gaudí.

Neighbourhoods include Bellissens, Mas Abelló, Mas Iglesias, Juroca, Niloga and Fortuny. Reus is a centre for rock climbing and has the third-largest airport in Catalonia. Wines and spirits have long been made in the area.
