Redondela is a town and municipality in the province of Pontevedra, in Galicia, within the comarca and metropolitan area of Vigo. It is the fourth most populous municipality in the province and lies between Vigo and Pontevedra. Its two large nineteenth-century railway viaducts earned it the nickname Village of the viaducts.

The municipality includes Redondela, Chapela, Cesantes, Reboreda, Cedeira, O Viso, Vilar de Infesta and Trasmañó. The Portuguese Way of the Camino de Santiago passes through the town. The islands of San Simón and San Antón, in San Simón cove, also belong to it.
