Puntagorda is a municipality in the northwest of the Canary island of La Palma, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It consists of a number of small villages and is well known for its almond trees, which blossom in January and February and have their own festival.

Farmland dominates the middle altitudes, mainly smallholdings and orange and avocado orchards, and above the village are the vineyards of the local Traviesa wine. Further up the slopes of the Caldera de Taburiente are forests of Canary Island pine, and the steep cliffs of the coast are a protected area. A farmers market with fresh local produce is held every weekend.
