Polopos is a municipality in the eastern part of the Costa Granadina comarca, in the province of Granada. It faces the Mediterranean Sea and borders Rubite, Órgiva, Torvizcón and Sorvilán. In 2025 it had 1682 inhabitants.

The Trigo, Acebuchal and Cautor ramblas run through its territory. The municipality gathers La Mamola, its capital, together with La Guapa, Polopos, Castillo de Baños de Arriba, Haza del Trigo and Castillo de Baños de Abajo.
