Polop, or Polop de la Marina, is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Baixa, in Alicante. It borders Benidorm, Benimantell, Callosa d'en Sarrià, Finestrat, el Castell de Guadalest and la Nucia.

The towns of Polop and la Nucia almost run into each other. Within the municipality lies Xirles, a hamlet. Under the Old Regime Polop was a lordly barony of the Crown of Aragon, created by James I.
