Get to know Pineda de Mar

Pineda de Mar is a municipality in the Maresme comarca, in the province of Barcelona. It stretches along the coast between Calella and Santa Susanna, and inland it borders Tordera. Four arches survive of a Roman aqueduct over the Pineda river.

The town centre keeps several historic buildings from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries. The N-II main road and a Renfe railway line run through the town. The weekly market is held on Wednesdays in Poblenou and on Fridays on the Passeig Marítim.
