Pilas is a municipality and town in the province of Seville, in Andalusia. It lies in the historic Aljarafe comarca near Seville. Its location puts El Rocío and the beaches of Matalascañas close by.

Table olives are one of its main crops, and in the late nineties it was considered the World Capital of the Table Olive. Alfonso X called it Torre del Rey after the Christian reconquest. Its name comes from the pilas, the drinking troughs built for livestock.
