Palafolls is a municipality in the comarca of Maresme, in the province of Barcelona. It borders Santa Susanna, Blanes, Tordera and Malgrat de Mar. A weekly market takes place on Saturdays.

It is made up of the village of Sant Genís de Palafolls, with its Romanesque church and the Ciutat Jardí development, the districts of Santa Maria and Sant Lluís, Mas Carbó, Mas Reixac and Les Ferreries. On top of the turó del Castell stand the ruins of Palafolls castle.
