Navata is a municipality in the province of Girona, in Catalonia, on the western side of the comarca of Alt Empordà. It borders the comarca of Pla de l'Estany, between the Manol and Fluvià rivers, close to La Garrotxa.
There are large fields of cereals, olive trees and pine woods, and the Mont massif can be seen from across the municipality. The Torremirona golf course, with a housing estate, gym and hotel, supports services and construction. It has 1507 inhabitants (INE 2025).
