Mutriku, Motrico in Spanish, is a coastal town in the province of Gipuzkoa, in the Basque Country. It belongs to the Bajo Deba comarca and borders Biscay to the west. Its port is one of the oldest on the Cantabrian coast.
The medieval old quarter is a listed monumental ensemble, with three main streets joined by steep alleys and stairs. The Church of San Andrés dates to 1080 and is one of the oldest in Gipuzkoa. The breakwater holds the world's first multi-turbine wave power station and the largest beach is Saturrarán.
