Muro de Alcoy, in Valencian Muro d'Alcoi and often just Muro, is a town in the Comtat comarca, in the north of the province of Alicante. It lies at the foot of the Serra de Mariola, in the main depression of the Alcoy valleys. The local economy rests on textiles, plastics, furniture and farming of olives and almonds.

The main festival is Moros i cristians, held on the second weekend of May. It recreates the capture of the town by the Moors and the Christian reconquest that followed.
