Javalí Viejo is a district of the municipality of Murcia, in the Área Metropolitana de Murcia comarca of the Region of Murcia. It lies a few kilometres from Murcia, on the left bank of the Segura river.

It is popularly known as El Lugarico, and it is home to the Contraparada, the weir that gives rise to the main irrigation channels of the Murcia huerta.
