Get to know Mos

Mos is a municipality in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia, in the comarca of Vigo. It borders Vigo to the west, Redondela and Pazos de Borbén to the north, O Porriño to the south and Ponteareas to the east. The river Louro flows through it from north to south, making it a valley.

There is no large town centre: most people live scattered across the municipality, among family-owned farms and vineyards. It is divided into ten parishes, including Tameiga, Louredo, Sanguiñeda, Cela, Mos, Torroso, Petelos and Pereiras.
