Molina de Segura is a municipality in the Region of Murcia and the capital of the Vega Media del Segura comarca. It belongs to the Murcia metropolitan area and is the fourth most populous municipality in the autonomous community, after Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca. Canning made its name, and confectioners such as Vidal Golosinas and Fini are based here.

Most residents live in the main town, which keeps a line of walls from the Almohad era. The rest are spread across outlying villages such as Romeral, Ribera de Molina, El Llano, Torrealta, Los Valientes, Fenazar and La Hornera. The N-301 road between Madrid and Cartagena runs through the municipality.
