Get to know Migjorn

Migjorn, which means south in Catalan, covers the southern part of the island of Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands. The Mediterranean borders it to the west, south and east. Its traditional capital is Llucmajor, also its largest and most populous municipality.

Five municipalities make it up: Llucmajor, Felanitx, Santanyí, Campos and Ses Salines, the smallest. Palma lies to the northwest, Pla de Mallorca to the north and Llevant to the northeast. Like other Balearic comarcas, it has geographic recognition only.
