Get to know Medina del Campo

Medina del Campo is a town and municipality in the province of Valladolid, Castile and León, at the heart of a farming area. First a Berber settlement, it was repopulated after 1085, and by the 12th century the walled town was a major centre of the Kingdom of Castile. Its free fairs later drew merchants from abroad.

The Zapardiel River and the A-6 motorway both pass through the town. Its areas include Centro, La Mota, Santiago, Santo Tomás and Medina Sur, along with the Francisco Lobato and Sepes industrial estates and the Ciudad del Mueble.
