Get to know Màlaga

Málaga is the capital of its province, the second-largest city in Andalusia and the sixth in Spain. The Phoenicians from Tyre founded it as Malaka, and it is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Western Europe. Tourism, construction and tech services drive the economy, with many firms in the Málaga TechPark.

Teatinos-Universidad, Ciudad Jardín, Palma-Palmilla, Campanillas, Puerto de la Torre, Churriana, Olías and Distrito Este are among its districts. The old core grew between Gibralfaro Hill and the Guadalmedina. An airport, a port and a high-speed rail link serve the city.
