Get to know La Mosca

La Mosca is a peripheral neighborhood in the East district of Málaga, on the right bank of the Arroyo Jaboneros, on both sides of the eastern ring road. It borders San Francisco to the east, Valle de los Galanes to the south and Hacienda Paredes and Cerrado de Calderón to the west.

The Verdiales festival is celebrated here, and the regional government recognises it as a cultural asset of ethnological interest. Every year many people visit the Belén de los Sueños, a Nativity scene carved into the stone of the hillside. The neighborhood also has a group of Maragatas made up of residents and the local football club U.D. La Mosca.
