Cruz del Humilladero is one of the neighborhoods of the Cruz de Humilladero district in Málaga. It takes its name from the square of the same name, which also gives the district its name. It sits on flat ground in the lower Guadalhorce plain, in the central part of the district's eastern residential area.
Carranque and 4 de Diciembre lie to the north, Núcleo General Franco to the west, Santa Julia to the southwest, and El Perchel and Los Tilos to the east, while railway tracks separate it from Carretera de Cádiz to the south. The neighborhood grew around a cross that marked the entrance to the city, and its current urban look dates from the 1970s, when blocks of flats replaced older houses. City buses from EMT serve it, and the La Unión metro station, named Cruz del Humilladero, has an entrance within its limits.
