Get to know Moratalaz

Moratalaz is one of the districts of Madrid, in the south-east of the capital. It covers 6.34 km² and had 92,814 residents in 2023. It is divided into the neighbourhoods of Pavones, Horcajo, Marroquina, Media Legua, Fontarrón and Vinateros.

It is bounded by the M-30 to the west, the M-40 to the east, the M-23 to the north and the A-3 to the south. Musicians Melendi and Alejandro Sanz have lived here.
